Cybersecurity has become a board-level responsibility, yet many boards continue to struggle with cybersecurity decisions. Not because they lack information, but because they lack decision-ready understanding. This presentation introduces Decision Translation, a new organisational capability that bridges the gap between operational cybersecurity and executive decision-making. It argues that cyber resilience is not created by more dashboards, metrics or technical reporting, but by enabling leaders to make better-informed strategic decisions. Through practical examples from cybersecurity, finance and operations, the keynote demonstrates that the highest-performing executive functions all follow the same decision architecture: they translate complex operational reality into clear, actionable choices for leadership.
