Rapid game development with Rust, raylib and AI

Predavanje je v angleškem jeziku.

In this beginner-friendly lecture, I'll demonstrate how I'm building BongBong, a tank shooter written in Rust that runs in your browser, and how modern tooling, languages and AI are helping me move rapidly and explore ideas that would have been out of reach for me before. There are really two kinds of AI in this project: one that helps me write the game, and one that plays it. Along the way, I'll explain the core mechanics, what the Raylib library gives you and why I chose it over a full engine, and how neural networks ended up driving the enemy tanks. The language matters here more than you'd expect, because strongly and statically typed languages such as Rust, together with their toolchains, let me move fast precisely by catching mistakes early, including the ones my AI assistant makes, and preventing problems down the road. To finish, I'll share the findings, obstacles, and lessons from building this game, including where AI genuinely helped and where it fell apart, so you leave a better, more AI-skilled engineer.
