Rather fewer can produce, on short notice, the numbers behind those statements: what coverage actually is, which accounts are exempt, when recovery was last tested, whether a detection fired or merely logged. That gap has been tolerable for a long time. It is becoming less so. This talk walks through the areas that come under scrutiny and the kind of evidence each one involves.
