AI is changing how teams create and manage documentation, governance processes, and quality records. In highly regulated environments such as medical labs, key priorities include accuracy, consistency, traceability, and audit readiness. Microsoft Copilot can support common procedures in laboratories with their compliance with different ISO regulations. Tasks include creating and updating procedures, preparing incident reports and deviation reports, tracking performance indicators, and creating controlled documents. When used together with good quality-management practices—such as clear ownership, approvals, access control, audit trails, retention rules, and training records, Microsoft Copilot reduces the occurrence of manual errors and makes processes easier to repeat and verify. In this session, you will learn how Microsoft Copilot can help simplify documentation work, make reports more consistent, and keep records well controlled across complex lab systems. Throughout her career, she combines clinical laboratory experience with compliance expertise, helping laboratories strengthen quality systems, achieve accreditation, and implement standards. Today, Ivanka is particularly focused on digital transformation, including the practical adoption of Microsoft 365 to enhance collaboration, information management, workflow optimization, and efficiency. Her work explores how AI technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, can be implemented correctly, responsibly, while safeguarding data integrity, transparency and patient safety. With a cross-disciplinary perspective, she connects laboratory practice, quality management, and digital technologies to help laboratories benefit from the digital technologies. Outside her professional work, she values spending time with her family.
